Snow Day Home Workout!

Snowed in and looking for a quick exercise blast you can do in your living room? Pull on the trainers, turn down the heating and let’s turn up the heat, Snow Day, Snowexcuses!

Step one: Download a Circuit Trainer app or Tabata app on your smart phone. This will time the exercise stations and rest meaning you can focuss on the exercise and don’t rest for too long.

Step Two: Warm up, jogging on the spot, shoulder rolls, standing squats (2-5mins)

Level 1: Three exercises performed for 20 Seconds each, back to back followed by 30 seconds rest after exercise no three. This is repeated three times through before moving onto the next round.

Example: (Press up 20 Seconds, Goblet Squats 20 Seconds, Crunches 20 Seconds, Rest 30 Seconds) X 3

Level 2: Three exercises performed for 30 Seconds each, back to back followed by 30 seconds rest after exercise three. This is repeated three times through before moving onto the next round.

Example: (Press up 30 Seconds, Goblet Squats 30 Seconds , Crunches 30 Seconds, Rest 30 Seconds) X 3

 

Step 3: Get to work!

Round 1 (3 Rounds)

  1. Press up
  2. Goblet Squats
  3. Crunches
  4. Rest 30 seconds

Round 2 (3 Rounds)

  1. Jumping Jacks
  2. Lunges
  3. Plank
  4. Rest 30 seconds

  2. Low Squat Hold
  3. Shadow Boxing
  4. Rest 30 seconds
